Who is Open Access Metro?
Open Access Metro is a wholesale Fibre Network Operator. We design, build and maintain high-performance fibre network infrastructure. Since we provide the network, we handle the fibre infrastructure and maintenance on behalf of internet service providers (ISPs).

Open Access Metro was established in 2024, with a mission to deliver world-class fibre networks that support Africa’s growing demand for high-speed, low-latency connectivity.

What's an Internet Service Provider and Open Access Metro's relationship?
We partner with top-tier internet service providers (ISPs). We provide the fibre infrastructure that the ISPs use to provide internet services.
We don’t provide the fibre packages or service. If you have an issue with your fibre service, please contact your ISP.
Where is Open Access Metro based?
Our headquarters is in Lagos, Nigeria, with other locations in South Africa, Kenya, Zambia and Mauritius.
